I really love when a vehicle's tire have that bright shine and part of my weekly vehicle up keep is to appy a liberal amount of tire shine. I'm currently using a spray on product that gives me the result I want but I have an issue with over spraying so having an applicator designed for applying tire shine was really helpful for me. This well made brush is 4 inches and contains soft bristles that allow the tire shire product to glide over your tires allowing you to reach against your rims without getting product on them. It would probably work best if using a gel product but I was able to spay my product directly on the bristles and it worked fine. The applicator is a bit on the pricey side but is well made and if you apply shine to your vehicles on a regular basis would be a good value.
This is definitely one of the best detailing products i have ever used. The bristles on this brush are quantitive and extremely soft, trust me you will be amazed by how soft it is, it almost feels like fur, and its super practical as well, the plastic housing it comes in acts as a drip pan, and the handle is extremely comfortable and easy to use. However, the best part is the results it gives you, all the bristles evenly distribute the tire shine and gives it a rich, new tire look shine, and this is better than ANY foam tire shine applicator, and this brush will definitely last you very long. I would 100% recommend this to detailers or people that clean their own cars. 5/5 stars.
For the first time using a brush like applicator, it was different than the typical foam. The brush is very soft & compressed tight so it absorbs & holds the tire shine. Spreading is wasy with its built in handle keeping your fingers clean. Storing this is an ease, but I still recommend setting this under a cardboard or rag for drips. I can see this dripping from the opening area once I keep using the brush more often & having too much tire shine on it. Think the tray could of been design so its covered from all sides.
This is by far the best tool to apply tire dressings! Order 2 and use one on tires and the other one shining up interior plastics. Keep them separated.

I love this brush! I've used it a handful of times to apply tire gel to my truck and my wife's Suburban. It works great! The bristles are soft yet slightly firm to keep a consistent pressure while moving it along. My previous brush was very firm which is what led me to try this one. I'm more than satisfied and will order another when this one wears out. I would recommend if you have an application similar to mine.

This brush if excellent for applying tire shine. The bristles are attached to a handle, which makes it very easy to use. Tire shine liquid slightly absorbs into the upper layer, which allows you to gently push down and wipe product onto your tires. Then you can find an edge, like ruler or a 2x4 and brush the tire shine off. Better than washing it.
I like this brush a little too much. It's just so soft! I really don't want to use it on my tires, but I can't think of another use for it. It's not like I have horses to brush. Actually I'm not sure what those brushes feel like. They're probably stiffer, but they look similar. Anyway, the brush is extremely high quality. I frankly don't understand how they got so many fine bristles in the handle and so perfectly straight! This will absolutely shine up your tires in no time flat. I highly recommend it.
Performance-wise, this brush absolutely deserves 5 stars. The densely packed soft, ultra fine bristles got in EVERYWHERE on my tires. There are some really, really fine grooves that are part of the sidewall design and this brush got the tire-shine fluid into every last one of them.So, then, why only 4 stars? NO INSTRUCTIONS! Now, I know how to use a brush, but this being a particularly nice brush -- and not inexpensive to replace -- I would like to know what chemicals are safe -- and especially those that are not, i.e. could damage the brush. After spiffing up my tires on my old cream puff of a pickup using a popular tire-shine product, I tried to clean the brush with a mild dish soap and water. After a couple of passes, I can still feel the tire shine chemical in the brush. My next step is to find a container to soak the thing overnight.This presents two problems. First of all, if I want to use the same brush on other applications, using different chemicals, it's not going to happen. I don't want to risk something undesirable happening because of a chemical from another job still hanging out in the brush and making its way onto the new work. The other potential problem is buildup of the the cleaning compound on the bristles.I like to take care of the things that I own -- including the tools that I use for that purpose. Not knowing what exact materials are in this brush or how it is held together, I can easily imagine ruining it by trying to clean it with something other than mild soap and water. A set of instructions letting me know what stronger solutions I can get away with would be nice.
Very impressed with this brush. The construction of it is solid. It fits perfectly in my hand and with the handle I have full control to spread tire gel evenly! I'm plan to purchase one for each of my cars' cleaning kits!! Must have for auto detailing!
I did not know what to expect as I prepared to use the brugs tire shine applicator and was skeptical. This worked GREAT and beat my expectations by a mile. I usually use a sponge applicator with a plastic handle, I still end up coated in tire dressing and wear gloves to keep my hands clean and it makes a mess on the wheel most times. This was much easier to apply and coated my tires evenly! I was able to push the bristles in along the rim to coat the tire lip. I normally need to take a Qtip to do this. I also feel like I used less tire dressing with each tire. The handle makes applications easier to apply with more precision.

I would give this 10 stars if I could. I have been using the typical foam applicators for tire shine and they work ok. They aren't great, they degrade pretty quickly, and I just thought this was the way. But then I found this brush and figured it couldn't hurt to try. Oh man, where has this brush been my whole life??? The brush is soft, but extremely densely packed. It is great for getting the tire shine into all of those little details spots on the side walls - but it also doesn't leave a lot of product behind. The typical foam applicators would leave little globs when you went over a bumpy spot, but this brush doesn't. I also like that I can easily clean out this brush with some dish soap and it will be as good as new! It also comes with a little plastic holder that it clips in to so you don't have to put the brush down on the ground. In the several times I've used it, I haven't seen it lose any of its bristles, so it seems very well made.This is an amazing tool to add to my detailing products, and I can't recommend it enough!

I have a few smaller brushes just like this one. For my car, they are perfect. I have low profile sport tires on my GTI. However my wife drives a jeep GC, and those tires are pretty large. It is a pain to use the smaller ones. This brush is perfect. What makes these brushes so nice is how thick they are. Very tightly packed super fine bristles. This is great for applying tire shine, Whether you are using a gel or a spray. It applies so evenly and uniform. I absolutely love this brush.There is one annoying problem with it. The housing, that holds the brush when you store it away, it is very hard to snap into place. You will get tired shine all over your hands trying to put this away. The snap is too tight. It’s better to just not use it at all. Or you can hack it by sanding it down for an easier snap. Price could be cut in half too. Or at least a third.No big deal. This brush is still the best for tire shine in my opinion. It is good enough to overlook the cost.
